The updated thermobalance TG 209 F1 Libra® enables analyses to be accomplished even faster, more precisely, and across an expanded temperature range. As for other thermobalances, no time-consuming baseline identifications need to be accomplished with the TG 209 F1 Libra® preceding a measurement.

The unique BeFlat® function of the Libra automatically compensates for any external factors influencing the measurement. These cuts run hours by up to 50%, giving more time available, for example, for more job measurements.

The heart of the TG 209 F1 Libra® is the micro furnace built from high-performance ceramics. The unit can be used within a broader sample temperature range of up to 1100°C and for heating rates of up to 200 K/min.

It is useful in thermal decomposition, decomposition, evaporation of plasticizer applications.
